Yoga Network's founder, Nick Long, in Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose)Yoga Network aims to make yoga information more accessible to all.  The information on this website is aimed at all levels: yoga beginners looking for a description of what yoga is or an introduction to the different types of yoga, keen yoga students looking for instructions on yoga poses, and yoga teachers looking for detailed yoga pose notes and yoga sequences to teach in a class. We currently:
  • List yoga pose information and instructions (that have been certified by a qualified Iyengar teacher for safety and correctness) with high quality yoga pose photos and highlighted lists of the benefits and contra-indications (medical or health reasons to avoid doing the yoga poses).
  • Give detailed descriptions on the key influences on yoga (including yoga gurus, paths of yoga and classic yoga texts)
  • Enable yoga teachers to easily and cheaply implement their own branded websites so that their services can be more easily found by potential students.
